RENZ at Digimedia
At Digimedia (7th - 9th April, 2011 in Duesseldorf, Germany) Renz exhibited machines that are especially designed according to requirements of digital printers. In the main focus were solutions with optimized setup times for all print run sizes. Main point was traditionally calendar production.

Obituary
On 11th February 2011, our esteemed employee and colleague Ad Kers sadly passed away. At only 57 years old he lost his battle against a serious disease.
Mr. Kers started as our Sales Manager for the Netherlands in 2001. His expertise contributed to building up RENZ in the Netherlands. He was also co-organizer of the annual Grafische Vakbeurs in Gorinchem. We owe Mr. Kers very much. His death is a grievous loss to us all. We express our deepest sympathy to the family of Ad Kers. We will retain fond memories of him.

New International Marketing Manager at RENZ
We are delighted to announce that Daniel Pooley has recently been promoted to International Marketing Manager for Renz GmbH. Daniel has worked for Renz UK for eleven years, most recently in the capacity of Sales & Marketing Manager. In his new international role Daniel will report to Michael Schubert Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSO), Renz Group and will be based between the UK & Germany.
In his new role Daniel will be responsible for the development and implementation of the global international marketing strategy for the entire Renz group.

Novelty of RENZ at Hunkeler Innovationdays in Lucerne (Switzerland)
Fully automatic, modular heavy duty punching machine AP 360-120 DIGI BL-BL
RENZ exhibited their new AP 360-120 DIGI BL-BL at Hunkeler Innovationdays in Luzern (14th to 17th February 2011).
The machine is a fully modular high speed automatic book block punch system for working widths of up to 360 mm.
The machine is an evolution form the leading AP 360 high speed punch to meet and match the pace of the front end digital printers.
This brand new concept from Renz, aims to fill the gap between high speed punching systems and fully automated lines. The machine has evolved to meet the demands of the digital and offset market, the continued growth in punching and wire binding book stocks means major bottle necks, hence the AP 360 – 120 block to block was born.

Grafische Vakbeurs in NL-Gorinchem

During the Grafische Vakbeurs in NL-Gorinchem RENZ showed solutions around punching and binding at booth No. 141.
In the main focus were solutions for professional paper converters. But machines for smaller and medium runs have also been exhibited as well.

Paperworld fair in Frankfurt ended successfully!

For RENZ, the Paperworld fair in Frankfurt ended very successfully!
In hall 3.0 C20 interesting solutions for punching, binding and laminating have been presented.
In the main focus of the booth was the automatic punching machine RENZ Autopunch 360-120 Digital Block-Block. Its specialty are the paper feeder and delivery which are unique in the graphic industry. The products that need to be punched are fed separatly. After the punching process they are also delivered separately and are placed offset on a deep pile delivery.
Thus, the products are ideally prepared for the following binding process because you are able to take the single blocks easily off the pile without need to separate them.
Due to the integrated QSA technology (Quick Size Adjustment) format adjustments can be done easily and without long setup times. Different presaved formats can be retrieved via touch screen.
A further innovation were „Covers by Renz“. This extension of the accessory line continues covers for books and brochures that can be designed, customized with variable letterings and ordered by the customer online. You can choose between different formats and versions, e.g. hard cover, soft cover and wrap around cover. "Covers by Renz" are presumably available as of second quarter 2011.
